    Just got this speaker at an estate sale only one with cab. Anyone know anything about it?

    If memory serves Lafayette only sold the bare speaker...so the cab is likely DIY

    Lafayette did sell cabs. With drivers or without. They had a large choice. They sold Altec, too!

    True but the speaker and cabinet were seperate pieces generally?

    There may have been sales and specials, but generally like a Chinese restaurant menu..."One from column A and one from"

    Actually back then finished speaker cabs were a common item...some local stores had boxes you could have stuffed to spec...
